Back to the roots
I started this blog "Technovice" after owning the domain www.technovice.com in 1994 for a few years and doing little with it. It was to be a place where normal human tech novice's would go for technology advice (a little play on the words - tech - novice - advice and hence technovice was born)
Somewhere along the way, I got sidetracked by life - a job, a family, etc. and I let this pass on. And just last year, my own mother passed on; and she was the uber tech novice: she even had a hard time understanding what I did for a living.
Well now it's Mother's Day again, and unfortunately I can't give any more tech advice to my Mom. But somehow I pulled my family, my job, my life together and helped my company launch a campaign that will allow any tech-savvy son or daughter to finally give some tech benefits to their own mom - for free, all year round. Check this out, and pardon for the campaign name: Tube Your Mom.
(basically it lets anyone in your family drop photos on an icon on their own desktops and they automatically get pushed (or "tubed") right to your mom's screensaver. She doesn't have to lift a finger. Now you'll never need to explain email or .zip enclosures again.
